Two US drone strikes on Thursday killed at least 10 militants in Pakistan's northwestern tribal belt, including a commander in the Al-Qaeda-linked Haqqani network, local officials said. The first strike targeted the Haqqani commander in North Waziristan, killing him and three guards, while a second attack hit South Waziristan. "US drones fired three miles. Six militants were killed," a Pakistani security official told AFP on condition of anonymity because he was not authorised to speak to the media.
