US Special Envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan Marc Grossmann is set to start on October 13 a one-day visit to Islamabad for talks with political and military leaders, the White House said. The US official is also scheduled to visit Kabul and several other capitals to build support for the vision of a stable, secure and prosperous Afghanistan ahead of the November 2, 2011 Istanbul conference for Afghanistan and in the lead-up to the December 5, 2011 Bonn conference to build support for the vision of a stable, secure, and prosperous Afghanistan.
