Poland's Prime Minister Beata Szydlo has said the Visegrad summit held today in Budapest was attended by world's key figures including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
In press statements on the sidelines of the summit, the Polish official said the summit participants tackled international challenges and exchanged viewpoints on security in the region, as well as efforts to combat terrorism, illegal migration and human trafficking.
She appreciated Egypt's role in achieving stability and combating terrorism and illegal migration especially in Libya and said she supported the establishment of a partnership council between Egypt and the European Union.
The Polish official said the summit tackled cooperation with Egypt which is considered one of the important economic partners in the African continent.
The Polish prime minister expressed her country's support for the Egyptian government's economic reform program and said she discussed with Egyptian officials an idea for establishing an industrial zone in the Suez Canal area and also establishing projects in the fields energy, tourism and infrastructure.
