Rem D Koolhaas, the Creative Director of United Nude, unveiled the new limited edition haute couture shoe designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid in Paris this week. Zaha and United Nude’s Creative Director Rem had talked about shoes since they first met years ago, and agreed to collaborate on the design of a shoe which ignores rules and conventions. The design of the NOVA shoe combines innovative materialisation and ergonomics with Hadid’s architectural to convey a sense of movement. United Nude launched in 2003 and is now available in over 50 countries worldwide, United Nude has seven flagship stores in Amsterdam, London, New York, Vienna, Tel Aviv, Seoul and Tokyo.
