Ministry of Housing in the Israeli entity and the Jerusalem Municipality approved a plan to build 10,000 settlement

Ministry of Housing in the Israeli entity and the Jerusalem Municipality approved a plan to build 10,000 settlement units at Jerusalem airport and the surrounding Qalandiya area in the settlement of Atarot which is located on Palestinians' lands in northwest Jerusalem.
Israeli Channel 10 News reported that the new building plan is located near Palestinians' homes, and was previously opposed by the former US administration.
The Israeli entity's Cabinet headed by Benjamin Netanyahu ratified at the end of March the establishment of a new settlement for settlers who were evacuated from Amona outpost and confiscated hundreds of dunums of Palestinian lands in the occupied Ramallah, in preparation for the settlement.
In December last year, the UN Security Council had adopted resolution No. 2334, which called on the Israeli entity to stop the construction of settlements in the occupied West Bank.
