Three policemen were killed while eight others got injured Tuesday when two police vehicles crashed in northern Afghan province of Jawzjan, sources said. "Two police Ranger Jeeps collided head-on along a main road early Tuesday morning, leaving three police killed and eight others wounded," provincial police chief Faqir Mohammad Jawzjani told Xinhua. The casualties were shifted to a hospital in the provincial capital of Shiberghan city, 390 km north of Afghan capital of Kabul, he said. Reckless driving on congested roads and highways are the main cause of road accidents in Afghanistan.
