The international military coalition in Afghanistan said a roadside bomb has killed one service member in a southeastern province, AP reported. Coalition spokesman Capt. Patrick Simmons confirmed the death. The bomb was set off by remote control Sunday as a convoy reached the outskirts of Qalat, capital of Zabul province, said district governor Abdul Khaliq Ayubi. He says another three troops were wounded.
