The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation has confirmed that its Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Juma Mohammed Abdullah Al Kaabi , and a number of Emirati diplomats accompanying him were injured in the attack that targeted Kandahar Governor guest house .

    "The UAE Ambassador’s visit to Kandahar was on humanitarian mission within the programme of the UAE to support the brotherly Afghan people, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement carried by the Emirates WAM news agency.
