Two Houthi leaders were killed during fierce confrontations with the Yemeni army and popular resistance forces in Saada governorate.
Military sources said Thursday the two were killed during continued clashes that broke out on Tuesday.
Militias backed up huge reinforcements in a bid to restore its posts.
Meanwhile, the International Committee of the Red Cross cautioned on Wednesday that the world has only three to four months to save millions of people in Yemen and Somalia from starvation, as war and drought wreck crops and block deliveries of food and medical care.
