A military engineering team of the 4th military region defused on Thursday an explosive device, 4 kg weight, in Aden province, a senior security official said. Deputy director of Aden security department Najib al-Mugales said that the explosive was planted in front of a military checkpoint on the road between Khormaksar and Mualla districts. The engineering team also found, during dismantling the explosive device, high explosive wires of T.C.H type and defused them shortly before explosion, al-Mugales said. He said that investigations have begun to detect those behind the planting of these explosives.
