The Saudi-led coalition forces destroyed a weapons depot belonging to militias loyal to Houthis and former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh in airstrikes that targeted an airbase in northern Sanaa.

The Arab alliance warplanes conducted four airstrikes on al-Delmi airbase, which resulted in destroying a weapons depot used by the militias, Sky News channel said Saturday, quoting a Yemeni security source.

Flames were seen coming from the base, said the source.
