The US conducted a raid on Mayfa'a district in the Yemeni governorate of Shabwah, the Arabic-speaking Sky News reported.

Media sources - speaking on condition of anonymity - said the US raid targeted Qaeda posts.

Meanwhile, an official of the Yemeni governorate of al Bayda said that the US launched a raid against al Qaeda on Sunday, killing two children.
