Head coach Jorvan Vieirahas

Kuwait's head coach Jorvan Vieirahas alluded to the fact that Kuwait have not yet progressed to the next round of the Gulf Cup, conceding that his side played with "extreme caution" to ensure a draw against defending champions the United Arab Emirates.
His post-match comments come as the national team maintain a two-match unbeaten run in the competition - after an earlier victory over Iraq - which keeps the 10-time holders two points clear at the summit of Group B with only a match to go.
The fixture was a technical one and, despite playing with extreme caution, the UAE played with high confidence thus managing to clinch two goals in the first half, said the Brazilian.
As a draw in Kuwait's upcoming clash against Oman on Thursday will be enough to ensure progression - as one of two group sides - to the quarter final, he added that his side need to keep their feet on the ground.
For his part, UAE head coach Mahdi Ali determined that the clash was difficult for both teams, however, there is still a chance for his side to make it out of the group stage.
The Emiratis had generally controlled proceedings, but errors and wasted opportunities led to the draw, he added.
As things stand, the UAE - with two points - could progress if they win their last group match, and so could Oman if they beat Kuwait.
Mathematically, even Iraq stand a small chance, which they could take through beating the UAE and causing an upset by eliminating the defending champions.
Fresh from qualifying for the AFC Asian Cup, the most nation to have won the popular Gulf event are looking to achieve an 11th title.
