Real Madrid playmaker Mesut Ozil has rubbished speculation linking him with a move away from the Spanish champions. Ozil has been heavily criticised by the country\'s press in recent weeks, with even manager Jose Mourinho suggesting the German \"lacks quality\". Manchester United are reported be keeping tabs on the 23-year-old, but Ozil does not want to leave the Bernabeu. He told German newspaper Bild: \"When you play for Real Madrid you can not think of anything else. I know nothing and I have no reason to leave.\" Ozil lost his starting place for Real\'s 4-1 win at Ajax in the UEFA Champions League last week, but returned against Barcelona on Sunday. He earned much praise for his performance, which was capped with an exquisite through-ball to tee up Cristiano Ronaldo for his second goal in the 2-2 draw at Camp Nou. But despite largely struggling for form this season, the former Werder Bremen player insists he is not motivated by his critics. \"I don\'t have to prove anything to anyone,\" he said. \"I do not play football to prove something to someone, but because I enjoy football. \" From Fifa
