Lazio's Chairman Claudio Lotito

Roma have no chance of winning the Serie A title this season, said Lazio president Claudio Lotito, who also hit out at Francesco Totti for taking an "inappropriate" 'selfie' during Sunday's derby.
High-flying Lazio raced to a 2-0 lead at the Olympic Stadium on Sunday thanks to goals from captain Stefano Mauri and Felipe Anderson, only to be pegged back by a brace of second-half goals from 38-year-old Totti.
The match finished 2-2, leaving Roma three points shy of champions and leaders Juventus with Lazio a further nine points adrift in third but firmly in contention for one of the three Champions League spots.
Lotito believes Roma have no chance of claiming their first scudetto since 2001 because Juventus are "superior".
"Roma won't win the title, without a shadow of a doubt," Lotito told Rai Radio2.
"From a technical point of view, it's impossible that Roma wins the title. Juventus will certainly triumph because they are superior."
Totti celebrated taking his career league tally to 239, 35 short of the all-time record held Silvio Piola (274), as well as setting a new record of scoring 11 goals in the city derby by taking a 'selfie' picture of himself with a mobile telephone handed to him by a coaching assistant.
Although his gesture created a huge buzz on social media and made world headlines in the sports media, Lotito said it was misplaced.
"His gesture was inappropriate, it had nothing to do with football," added Lotito.
"It would have made sense after the game, not during it. Beyond it being an innocuous gesture, it only adds fuel to an already tense situation.
"My captain would never have done the same."
