Bayern Munich are not getting carried away despite their record-breaking start to the Bundesliga season, according to their chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. The Bavarians routed Fortuna Dusseldorf 5-0 on Saturday but Rummenigge is refusing to write off Borussia Dortmund, the defending champions who now trail his side by 12 points following a 2-1 defeat against Schalke. \"I don\'t get any pleasure at all [in seeing Dortmund lose],\" he said. \"We have had a great start to the season, Dortmund have had less of a good start. If we carry on playing like this, then it will be hard for any opponents to beat us. Thomas Muller, Bayern Munich forward \"We have set a new record with eight wins in a row, but there will still not be any champagne on the flight back to Munich.\" Dortmund recovered from nine points behind to beat Bayern to the title last season, but according to Thomas Muller, the likes of Eintracht Frankfurt and Schalke must be considered as Bayern\'s most serious title rivals this year. \"There are more teams than just Borussia Dortmund,\" he told Sky. \"We can be pleased that we have made such a good start to the season and we have learnt to concentrate only on ourselves. If we carry on playing like this, then it will be hard for any opponents to beat us.\" From Fifa
