Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal said Tuesday he\'d extend Jonny Wilkinson\'s contract by four years if the former England fly-half wanted to. Wilkinson, 33, is expected to announce in the coming weeks whether he will retire from rugby or not after a sparkling career that was revitalised after his arrival at Toulon in 2009. But the outspoken Boudjellal told AFP: \"I\'d sign him for four years if he wanted to. \"He knows that if I extend it, it\'s not for bad reasons. It\'s just that he\'s an excellent player.\" Boudjellal refused to say what likelihood there would be of Wilkinson re-signing. \"Only he can say, it\'s he who decides,\" said Boudjellal, who has bankrolled the star-studded Toulon team through the millions made from his comic book empire. Wilkinson, who famously kicked the winning drop-goal against Australia in the 2003 World Cup final, quit England duty in December 2011 after amassing 91 caps for his country. He also played six times for the British and Irish Lions. From: AFP
