Algerian international football player Aissa Mandi said the national team will compete at the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2015) in Equatorial Guinea with the aim of winning the title.
"We have a good squad allowing us to go to Equatorial Guinea with the aim of winning the trophy, even if we are convinced that it won't be easy job," stressed Mandi, who was guest of a French Canal+ Sport broadcast on Monday.
Algeria performed well at the CAN 2015 qualifiers, wrapped up last Wednesday, dominating Group B.
It ended leader of its pool with 15 points, winning five games and losing one.
Algeria is the favourite to win the African title in Equatorial Guinea (CAN 2015), to take place from January 17 to February 8.
National team has won no title since 1990, when it snatched the continental crown at a tournament that took place in Algeria.
