15th session of Egyptian-Saudi joint committee kicks off

The 15th session of the Egyptian-Saudi joint committee kicked off here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Egyptian and Saudi trade ministers.

The meeting, held at the level of experts and senior officials, discussed preparations for Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's visit to Egypt, scheduled to start on Thursday.

Head of Egypt's side to the meeting Saeed Abdullah described Egyptian-Saudi relations as a "role model".

He noted that the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Saudi Arabia hit 4.4 billion dollars in 2015.
