As many as 218 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, said Marsa Matrouh Security chief Mokhtar el Senbary on Saturday.
Out of all the returnees, 170 Egyptians left the country legally and 48 illegally, he said.
Travel procedures of 356 persons, including 45 Egyptians and 311 Libyans, have been finalized, Senbary added.
Senbary noted that 112 empty trucks arrived at the crossing to be loaded with Egyptian commodities.
