As many as 266 Egyptians returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, said Marsa Matrouh Security Chief Mokhtar el Senbary.
Out of all the returnees, 222 Egyptians left the country legally and 44 illegally, he noted in statements on Thursday.
Travel procedures for 955 people, including 245 Egyptians and 710 Libyans, have been finalized, Senbary added.
As many as 101 empty trucks arrived via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours to be loaded with Egyptian commodities.
