The Abu Dhabi City Municipality, ADM, has launched an extensive awareness campaign targeting hair salons in Abu Dhabi, as part of efforts to raise awareness amongst personnel on the importance of applying public health and hygiene standards.

The campaign included visits to 56 men’s salons and 38 beauty parlours, offering various tips including how to hygienically maintain treatment areas, and the proper use of shavers and sterilisation apparatus.

ADM said periodical awareness campaigns will continue to run as part of efforts to maintain the highest health and safety standards and ensure the protection of the public
