MP Amal Abou Zeid said in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon - 93.3 radio station that "the general atmosphere before the legislative session signals agreements, including the adoption of the tax law based on the political understandings made in the past few days."


Tackling yesterday's Clemenceau meeting, he said "any agreement between political parties serving the stability of Lebanon shall be considered positive," ruling out that the meeting could be directed against the President or anyone else.


"Yesterday's meeting is not a tripartite alliance directed against anyone. It is aimed to strengthen stability in the face of the conflicts taking place in the region, especially since the situation of Lebanon is fragile and the volcano is close to our borders
