Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit underlined the importance of continued work at regional and international levels to safeguard Palestinian rights which are violated daily by the Israeli authorities.

In a statement distributed by the AL on Wednesday on the Arab Human Rights Day, Abul Gheit underlined the importance of human rights principles and the values of forgiveness and respect in promoting security, stability and sustainable development.

Abul Gheit called for rallying efforts in the Arab region to confront the spiraling terror phenomenon, increasing terror an extremism activities and hyping development and social challenges in Arab communities.
