ADTD leads Roadshow to Eastern Europe and CIS

As part of its strategy to highlight Ajman’s unique tourist attractions and promote the emirate at an international level, the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, ADTD, is participating in a promotional roadshow to Eastern Europe from the 8th to the 14th of October.

The roadshow, arranged in partnership with FlyDubai, officially began in Kiev, Ukraine, followed by events in Yerevan, Armenia and Almaty, Kazakhstan.

In an ongoing effort to promote the emirate abroad, a delegation of Ajman’s leading hotels supports the event, including the Ajman Saray, Fairmont Ajman, Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah, and Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche.

Through its participation in the roadshow, the ATDD aims to increase the awareness of Ajman as a unique destination and enhance engagement and bilateral relations with various countries who form a significantly important market for Ajman.

Commenting on the roadshow, Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General of the ADTD, said, "Participation in this roadshow is of paramount importance to us, as it provides a valuable opportunity for us to promote Ajman and highlight its wide range of diverse tourism offerings. Furthermore, it enables us to network with a number of top international travel agencies, official tourism authorities and hoteliers to strengthen relations and boost cooperation."

The roadshow will play a crucial role in encouraging and driving more tourists to visit Ajman.

Over the whole week, the ADTD will hold a series of meetings and events with major travel and tourism operators to promote its tourist attractions and highlight the major tourism and investment projects developed by the department to attract more tourists to the emirate.

"The roadshow is part of our strategy to promote Ajman as a unique tourist destination and provides a platform for key tour operators to experience what the emirate has to offer.

We are honoured to be able to share the true spirit of modern Emirati hospitality and instill the image of Ajman as an emirate with rich tourist, natural and cultural elements, helping us to raise the profile of our unique tourist destination and increase the number of visitors from Eastern Europe in the future."

The week-long event is in line with Ajman Vision and the ADTD’s strategic objectives of increasing the number of visitors to the Emirate. Through building partnerships with key tour operators, and showcasing a number of Ajman’s major tourism projects and services, their participation comes in line with the overall objective of making the emirate one of the world’s top tourist destinations.
