In implementation of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on committing to the roadworks schedule leading to the new airport terminal building, Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohamed ahs held a work meeting to learn about the progress made in the development of the aforementioned road.
Works Undersecretary for Works, Eng. Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayat, Assistant Undersecretary for Roads, Eng. Huda Abdullah Fakhro, and Bahrain Airport Company CEO Mohammed Yusuf Al Binfalah were also present.
The Works Ministry’s officials briefed the minister on the construction progress made in the new airport terminal building, which falls under the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry’s plan to promote aviation sector in Bahrain.
They also gave a detailed presentation of the next stages of the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry’s plan for the development of Road 2403 coming from Arad Road taking to Bahrain International Airport.
The minister stressed the ministry’s readiness to provide all facilitations possible to finish the roadworks on time.
The new airport terminal building is the largest infrastructure project in Bahrain, which will contribute to benefit air cargo operations and passengers.
