The Ministry of Housing announced that it had finished distributing Al-Lawzi units.

The Ministry of Housing announced that it had finished distributing Al-Lawzi units and flats to eligible citizens. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister had issued directives to allocate 4800 housing to eligible recipients.

In a statement today, the ministry said that it is continuing the distribution of the allocated 4800 units, stressing keenness on meeting citizens’ demands and demands and ensuring them stability and decent living standards.
It stressed the importance of Al-Lawzi housing project which epitomizes growing partnership between the public and the private sectors.
Under the Government Action Plan (GPA) the ministry is also committed to the construction of 25,000 social housing units. The ministry also cited the royal directives issued by His Majesty the King to build a total of 40,000 housing. "The project reflects the Government’s success in promoting partnership with the private sector as a non-conventional initiate to address the housing issue in Bahrain", the ministry said.
