The Arab League conference on sustainable development, which kicked off early Monday, honored President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for his support of overall sustainable development and Arab-African cooperation.
Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahr Nasr, who was present at the inaugural session of the conference, received the shield on behalf of the president.
The conference is organized in coordination with the Arab Women Investors Union and the National Council for Women.
The conference aims at encouraging trade between Arab and African states, increasing investments and achieving sustainable development through boosting Arab and African trade and economic blocs.
