The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, has condemned the terrorist attack on a court house in the Libyan city of Misrata, for which Daesh has claimed responsibility, which resulted in the killing and wounding of a number of civilians.
In his statement, the Secretary-General expressed his condolences to the families of the victims, and his hopes that the Arab League will stand by the Libyan people and support its unity, sovereignty and stability. He also stressed the Arab League's efforts to eliminate the activities of terrorist groups and militias that threaten the security and stability of Libya.
