Security authorities have started to implement a new security system in Aswan city on the occasion of the Christmas.

In statements on Sunday, Head of Aswan Security Directorate Magdy Moussa said that the city was divided into five zones which patrols will roam around the clock.

He added that security cameras will be installed in the police vehicles to document incidents.

The security directorate is on alert on the occasion of the Christmas and New Year’s Eve, he further said.
