Grand Imam of Azhar Sheikh Ahmed Tayyeb on Thursday greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Egyptian people's well as leaders and governments of the Arab and Muslim worlds on the new Hijri (Islamic) year, which falls on Sunday.

Tayyeb urged all Muslims to inspire the spirit of Hijrah, represented in good planning, hard work and nostalgia for the homeland.

On the occasion,Tayyeb wished all more prosperity, welfare, security and stability.
