Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, the Minister of Education and Chairman of the National Committee of Education, Science and Culture has patronized a semi-regional meeting of experts in educational policy and strategic planning.
The meeting was organised by the Arab and Islamic organistations for education, science and culture (ALECSO, ISESCO) in collaboration with Bahrain National Educational, Scientific and Cultural Committee.

The two-day event witnessed the participation of education officials and experts from several Arab countries, which took place in the Information Technology and Communications (ICT) Regional Centre.

Discussion papers were presented regarding the ideal preparation of policy, planning and strategies to develop education in the light of international concepts and standards of education quality to suit the developmental needs of each country in addition to discussion of latest scientific techniques applicable in the continuous assessment of educational plans and strategies.
