Bahrain-Kuwait military cooperation reviewed.

Kuwaiti First Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence Shaikh Nasser Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah paid a visit today to the General Command headquarters of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) where he was welcomed by BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Defence Minister Lt. General Yusef bin Ahmed Al Jalahma, Chief of Staff Lt. General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Royal Guard Commander Brigadier Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Captain Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The BDF Commander-in-Chief lauded solid relations between the two brotherly countries in light of the leaderships’ keenness to further bolster them to serve common goals.

The meeting spotlighted bilateral military cooperation and coordination to further consolidate ties between the two brotherly countries.

The Kuwaiti First Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence listened to a briefing and watched a documentary on the history of BDF and its development in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander.

The Kuwaiti First Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence was accompanied during the visit by Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Azam bin Mubarak Al Sabah, Chief of the General Staff of Kuwait Armed Forces Lt. General Mohammed Khalid Al Kheder, Defence Ministry Undersecretary Shaikh Ahmed Mansoor Al Ahmed Al Sabah and senior officers.

The meeting was attended by Defence Ministry Undersecretary Major General Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, General Command Court Director Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad, Inspector General Major General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi and BDF senior officers.
