Commenting on the Constitutional Council's recent decision on the annulment of the tax hike law, Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Free Patriotic Movement head, Gebran Bassil, said on Friday via Twitter: "We respect the Council's decision especially regarding the need to approve the national budget, first, with the inclusion of the salary scale resources."

Bassil reiterated the FPM's constant position regarding the need to endorse auditing budget accounts in accordance with norms.

As such, The Minister said that the Parliament must carry out the necessary rectifications to avoid any financial collapse
