House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Friday cabled Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, sternly deploring the "terrorist attack" that targeted al-Rawda mosque in the northern Egyptian Sinai, which left scores dead and wounded.


Speaker Berri extended his sincere condolences on the fallen victims of the heinous attack, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.


Berri underlined in his cable "cooperation in the face of terrorism."


"This massacre represents one of the highest levels of organized crime that targeted Egypt and targets its counterparts at the level of our Arab countries," Berri said, stressing that such matter necessitates the highest degree of coordination at the security levels and a unified confrontation to dry up terrorism resources and sources.
