An attempt to smuggle 12 million pills of Tramadol and Tamol has been foiled at West Port Said port, northeast of Cairo.

Acting upon a tip-off, the authorities found the banned drug shipment hidden in a container coming from Malaysia.

An investigation has been launched into the case.
