The UAE-Pakistan Assistance Programme, UAE-PAP, has released the 2nd edition of its book, "The Initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Eradicate Polio," at the international health forum, "Reaching the Last Mile – Mobilising Together to Eliminate Infectious Disease," which opened in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.

It highlights the initiatives and humanitarian contributions of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in support of the global campaign to eradicate polio around the world.

A section of the book is dedicated to the UAE-PAP's polio vaccination campaign in Pakistan, with information, data and results from its beginning in 2014 to date. Another section includes basic information about polio and the progress of the global polio eradication campaign.

The book also contains images detailing different stages of the vaccination campaign.
