Cairo - MENA
The cabinet approved during its weekly meeting Thursday a presidential decree about a finance deal between Egypt and the European Commission on a migration challenges' program in Egypt.
The cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli.
The finance deal, signed on October 17 in Brussels, aims to confront immigration challenges in Egypt via achieving three targets, including the empowerment of migration management in Egypt and addressing the root causes of illegal immigration.
The total cost of the program on enhancing response to migration challenges in Egypt is estimated at 63.6 million euros.
