General Director of Protection and Safety at the General Directorate of Civil Defence, Colonel Hamad Ali Al Kabai announced the launching of a campaign to enhance awareness of the fire risks of operating exhaust fans and electric appliances for long periods. The campaign aims also to encourage the public to choose good quality electrical appliances and wires and keep inflammable items away from children.
