Giza Criminal Court

Giza Criminal Court sentenced on Monday three defendants to life sentence each over charges of setting on fire a Church in Kerdasa, Giza. 

Earlier, the three defendants were sentenced in absentia and received the same prison sentence, said judicial sources. 

The Public Prosecution referred the suspects to the Criminal Court in the case which involved 73 defendants of the Brotherhood group

The Prosecution charged them of setting on fire the Virgin Church, possessing weapons and terrorizing citizens following the dispersal of Rabaa el Adawya and Nahda sit-ins.
