Northern Governor, Ali bin Al-Shaikh Abdulhussain Al-Asfoor, has extended thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, for his directives to follow up on the conditions of the citizens who were affected by the terrorist attack that had targeted a oil pipeline in Buri village.
The governor also expressed thanks to the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Labour and Social Development, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, and Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, for their fruitful cooperation in order to Behind the fruitful cooperation in order to accelerate the compensation of citizens and to find suitable alternatives for housing as well as for the disbursement of compensations.
This came as the Northern Governor received here today the citizens whose house was damaged as a result of the terror attack on an oil pipeline in Buri.
Al-Asfoor got assured about the living conditions of the citizen’s family, and discussed with him the arrangements and procedures of the compensation.
The citizen submitted a written approval allowing the Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning to demolish his house after obtaining the demolition permit from the Northern Municipality.
The owner of the house accepted the offered compensation amount of BD 106,620, inclusive consultancy fees and one-year rent.
The Ministry of Works shall bear the cost of the demolition of the house amounting to BD 5,000.
The citizen extended thanks to Joint Municipal Services Undersecretary, Engineer Raed Mohammed Salah.
The Northern Governorate submitted a report on the cars which had been damaged as a result of the terror attack to the Minister of Oil Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and the total value of compensation is being determined.
