Abu Dhabi - Arab Today
Customer service efficiency is set to improve across the UAE following the Executive Committee Office, ECO, 'Life in Abu Dhabi' event, held at Yas Marina Circuit last month.
The Abu Dhabi Government initiative brought together mid and senior-level employees from various government entities for a five-day conference on customer service. The event was the first initiative from the 'Life in Abu Dhabi' project, created by the newly-formed Government Services Office established within the Executive Committee Office, with further events and programmes planned for the future.
The event gathered government employees at Yas Marina Circuit and, through a number of tasks and challenges, focused on improving life in Abu Dhabi across three key sectors: the citizen, the investor and the tourist. The teams worked from the venue’s unique MICE facilities, including the Main Pits and F1 garages, to find solutions to issues such as visa and entry permits, tourist experience at Abu Dhabi Airport, residency permits, trade licensing enquiries, registering for schools and tenancy contracts.
The event made use of Yas Marina Circuit’s unique MICE facilities with customised informal spaces to help bring the teams together, with team-building activities used to enhance the process of developing the initiatives.
Juma Humaid Al Nuaimi, Director of the Government Services Office, said, "It was the first time that government entities have come together in such a way. Having Yas Marina Circuit on board to deliver the 'Life in Abu Dhabi' project helped to organise a very successful event."
