National Defense Minister Yacoub al-Sarraf on Monday issued a decree #883 annulling all arms' licenses issued in the year 2016. 


The decision comes following a string of criminal incidents witnessed recently in the country, as a result of the chaotic arms present in the hands of citizens. 


"All arms' licenses issued in 2016 are considered cancelled," decree said
