Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, said on Wednesday that the kingdom of Saudi Arabia was the corner stone of Islam.

"The KSA is keen on the present and future of Islam away from extremism and tension," the Mufti said during his participation in the International Conference on Development and Reconstruction Projects in Makkah, which was held in KSA's Jeddah under the patronage of Prince Khaled Al Faisal bin Abdul Aziz
