DHA signs four MoUs at AccessAbilities Expo 2017

The Dubai Health Authority, DHA, have signed four Memoranda of Understanding, MoUs, to provide early intervention, medical and rehabilitation services for 'people of determination', especially children, at the recent AccessAbilities Expo 2017.

The MoUs were signed with Child Early Intervention Medical Centre, Developing Child Centre, Stepping Stones Centre, and RIFE USA.

The agreements aim to strengthen relations between the public and private sector to provide medical and rehabilitation services for people of determination and establish a secure patient network to provide early intervention services.

They also seek to strengthen partnerships to support and start early intervention for children, improve the way of living, and achieve satisfaction for children and their parents by providing easy access to required services.

Humaid Al Qutami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of the DHA, signed the MoU, with the concerned parties.

Al Qutami said the authority strives to strengthen its relations with the public and private sector to broaden its services for people of determination. He added that the DHA is working on implementing the Dubai strategy for people of determination and commit to all its requirements not only through providing health services but also on focusing on rehabilitation and intervention for people with disabilities.

Dr. Manal Taryam, CEO of Primary Health Sector at the DHA said these four centres have the capabilities to support the authority’s objectives.
