Doha will host on March 8-9 the Humanitarian Forum in Support of Palestinian People, which is organized by Qatar Charity and sponsored by Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD).
The Furum aims to promote coordination and partnership between of the Palestinian people's supporters and to diagnose developmental and humanitarian reality in Palestine in order to develop effective solutions thereto.
The event also aims to attract support for the funding and implementation of quality humanitarian programs and projects and launch a number of developmental and humanitarian initiatives.
75 regional and international humanitarian organizations in addition to donors are participating in the forum to discuss the pressing needs of the Palestinian people.
Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors without Borders), in collaboration with Qatar Charity will organize an interactive exhibition on the margins of the Forum. In addition Qatar Charity will organize on Friday, March 10 a festival to support the Palestinian people, at the cultural Village (Katara).
