Rafah - WAFA
The Egyptian authorities Wednesday partially reopened Rafah crossing with the Gaza Strip to allow stranded Palestinians to leave and enter Gaza, according to officials. They said the crossing, which has been closed for five days following the popular upheaval against the Muslim Brotherhood regime and ousting of President Mohammed Morsi, will be open on Wednesday and Thursday and for four hours only to allow stranded people to leave or enter the Strip. The reopening of the crossing came after President Mahmoud Abbas Tuesday called Egyptian officials to ask them to reopen it.
