The Egyptian Air Force on Monday wiped out a convoy of six vehicles loaded with weaponry, ammunition and smuggled materials which crossed the country's western border.

A Military Spokesman, Colonel Tamer Rifai, said that the operation "resulted in the targeting and destruction of infiltrators and the elimination of criminal elements within them."
