An officer at Egypt’s Central Security was killed Thursday after the checkpoint he was stationed at was subjected to a terrorist attack. Egyptian national news agency MENA reported today that the gunmen were driving a four-wheel car that had no plates and fired at the checkpoint located in front of a hotel before driving off. Another officer, 22 years of age, was injured in the attack.
