Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Chairman of Dar Al Ber Society, DABS, has said that the UAE leadership is fully aware of the critical role women can play in the process of development, adding that Emirati woman are critical in making a positive change across the country.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Dar Al Ber Society commended the initiatives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to promote women’s empowerment.
Al Mazrouie said, "The exceptional achievements of UAE women, who are now holding top positions in all fields of life, have significantly boosted the advanced position of the country worldwide."
Speaking on the occasion, Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Executive Director of DABS, said, "The civilised image of the Emirati woman, with her successful achievements, refutes misleading stereotypes of women in the Arab world, and sets a new role model for women elsewhere."
He added, "The achievements of the DABS women's teams speak volume, considering their astounding successes over the last years, mainly with younger generations to whom they teach the Holy Quran, Sunnah and ethics according to the tolerant teachings of Islam."
